All of 14, Bina Kalindi is standing up to tradition, taking on child marriage. In her village near Purulia in West Bengal, every girl was married off by the age of 12. Bina Kalindi saw her sister suffer two miscarriages. She decided she won't let young girls of her village face the same fate. So Bina now goes door to door, educating parents and when they don't listen, she calls in the police. Supported by the National Child Labor Project, a UNICEF-funded organization, Bina plans to take her battle across the state.
